Meaningful Sculpture Reflection, May 9, 2013
1. The good and strong parts of my sculpture is the tree leaf because it stands for oxygen and that keeps me alive.
2. I think I could have done better on the idea in general because it is just a random idea and not very meaningful.
3. The theme of my design is the most important essentials for life because I did a cross for my religion, a leaf for oxygen, a heart for love, and a smiley face for laughter. I chose this because I think they are important things to have for life.
4. My representive because when you look at my project, you can tell what it is.
5. My project isnt 3-D.
6. I learned that many things in life can be looked at and have a meaning in some way to some people. A lesson you could learn from this is that you should never take anything for granted because many things are meaningful in life.
7. First I got clay out and wedged it. Then I attempted making a tree and I failed. So then I just made a leaf because trees give you oxygen and that is important. So then I got to think about what other things were important to me and I just sculpted them out. It was by chance because I really had no idea what I wanted to do before I started. I changed my mind many times during this project until I was satisfied with it.
8. I think this project is worthwhile becasue you get to do what ever you want, it was a very leanient project. Although, I did not care for it because it was hard to pick an idea that meant something to you then sculpt it.
