2-D: Gargoyle Reflection. March 6, 2013.
1. The good and strong parts of my gargoyle is the hair, because I kept adding more to make it look for full making it look better.
2. I think I could have done better job on the details because it isn't very smooth and I could have made it look better, also a better job on the painting job because it is not good.
3. My project looks like a fun little guy with crazy hair, and very colorful. I designed it this way because I thought of an idea, made it and attached it. It is showing a funny emotion and it looks like a crazy little dude.
4. My gargoyle looks like cylinder. It is as big as about 2 fists. I chose to do it like that because that is what came from my hands!
5. The major colors that are in my gargoyle are lavendar and yellow, orange, blue, grey, and pink, because I wanted a lot of color in it and I chose them randomlyl.
6. From this project I learned that you need to take your time because if you want things to look good in life you need to take your time.
7. First, I made two pinch pots, slipped them, and stuck them together making the inside hollow. I did it the way I did, because I just kept thinking of random ideas, and if I liked one enough, I went with it! It was by chance because I didn't have a set plan that I wanted to follow, I just used my imagination. The challenges that I face were getting my gargoyle smooth, and centering the face on the body. The things that changed during this project were I had to keep adding little details that made it more interesting.
8. At first, I thought this project was not worth the time and effort because I just didn't like it, but towards the end I started liking it more because it is a way people can express anything they want, whether it was silly or cute!
